The Mane Hub Virtual Showing Series

We are absolutely overwhelmed with your messages of support for our virtual showing series.  We have had the inhand followed by the ridden series and now it’s time for the working hunter show, sponsored by Toggi and Champion Equestrian.

However, BEFORE you start videoing your show please make sure you have read the rules and follow the instructions below.

Please ensure that you follow these important steps:

  1. Where possible record in landscape and make sure the jumps are visible.
  2. There must be a minimum of 6 jumps, including a spread and a double.
  3. Hard hats with chin straps MUST be worn.
  4. Your video must be continuous, no editing is allowed.
  5. Videos from 2019 can be submitted, however videos from HOYS and RIHS are not permitted.
  6. Show attire is not needed, but smart dress is preferred.

Thank you for being part of our virtual showing series, we really hope you enjoyed the experience as much as we have.

The Mane Hub Team

In March 2020 due to the Corona virus shows of all sizes were having to cancel.  The atmosphere within the equestrian showing community was at an all time low.

We had been really looking forward to the Royal Windsor Horse Show where we get to meet up with our lovely customers and watch our sponsored riders compete.  When it was confirmed that they too would have to cancel, the decision was made to hold a ‘true to life’ series of online shows.  And so The Mane Hub Virtual Showing Series was born.

These shows have been designed to give something back to the showing community by giving them something to look forward to whilst raising money for the NHS.

There will be 3 shows to start, Inhand, Ridden and Working Hunter. The aim of these shows is to create the same atmosphere and excitement that you get from competing at a real show.  We have created set shows and have asked competitors to wear the correct show attire (although smart dress will be accepted).  Our judges are all professionals and have competed to the highest level, we will also have panel judges throughout the series of shows.

Entries open for the inhand on the 18th May where you will have to submit your video via our website.  Entries close on the 31st May and we will then release pre-entries.  All videos will go live on the 1st June so that all competitors and spectators can watch at the same time, adding to the excitement.

We hope you will enjoy being part of our series of shows and we wish you all good luck!
